About TitanScrolls

TitanScrolls office with ancient artifacts and modern technology

Our Epic Journey

TitanScrolls founding team in 2012

TitanScrolls was born in 2012 when four passionate gamers, united by their love for ancient mythology and innovative gameplay, gathered in a modest basement office in Halifax. Alexander Frost, our lead developer, had just returned from an archaeological expedition in Greece where he was struck by the idea of bringing ancient texts and artifacts to life through interactive digital experiences.

Initially a small indie studio creating mobile puzzle games based on mythological riddles, we quickly gained attention for our meticulous historical research and immersive storytelling. Our breakthrough came in 2015 with the release of "Olympus Ascending," a strategy game that blended accurate historical elements with compelling gameplay mechanics.

By 2018, we had expanded to a team of fifteen dedicated professionals and moved to our current location at Upper Water Street, where we transformed a standard office space into our "temple of creation" - decorating it with replicas of ancient artifacts and texts that inspire our work daily.

Today, TitanScrolls stands as Canada's premier developer of historically-inspired gaming experiences, with a growing international presence and partnerships with academic institutions that value our approach to making ancient knowledge accessible and engaging for modern audiences.
